The role: Reporting to the Head of Buying, the Buyer will have the opportunity to be part of a multi-channel retail business with ambitious growth plans and will work alongside the visual merchandiser to ensure smooth running of the department.
What you’ll be doing:
Keep abreast of competitor offer/pricing & react where necessary.
Be the primary contact for suppliers’ sales teams.
Build product ranges to support promotional events.
Seek new products to drive incremental sales.
Set core & promotional retail pricing & maximize product margin.
Forecast new & promotional line stock requirements.
Provide stock & sales data for suppliers.
Provide ad-hoc reports.
Oversee ordering of all stock, testers & promotional items.
Analyze performance of SKUs.
