Working in this fast-paced role, you will act as a first point of contact supporting with answering Recruitment queries across our 210+ store estate, warehouse, Head Office and our sister company, Per-Scent. You will predominately provide administration support for Recruitment including arranging interviews, issuing documentation for new starters and leavers, ensuring the team member is successfully onboarded and ensuring the smooth flow of data to the HR department. As you will be the first point of contact for prospective candidates you must be confident to speak on the phone and have the ability to quickly build rapport. You will also be expected to provide support for all HR processes and act as cover in the absence of the HR Assistant.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Direct sourcing of candidates via LinkedIn, other social media platforms, database search, direct advertising, job boards etc. 
  • Coordinating the hiring process from start to finish, including scheduling interviews 
  • Proactively assist with the recruitment drive by supporting the production of job descriptions, creating adverts, placing adverts, actively monitoring and improving vacancy fill time 
  • Helping managers with interviewing techniques to ensure that all candidates are treated fairly 
  • Proactively manage the talent inbox & careers page on company website 
  • Responding to all applications in a timely and professional manner 
  • Provide administrative support to HR team. 
  • Conducting reference checks to verify employment history and qualifications of prospective employees 
  • Helping to develop and implement hiring strategies that will yield a diverse candidate pool while reducing bias towards specific groups 
  • To maintain information in a confidential manner, following data protection regulations and ensuring the HR team and personnel files and recruitment records are GDPR compliant. 
  • Supporting Health, Safety and Wellbeing within the workplace. 
  • Any other duties as reasonably required
