The Fragrance Shop, The UK’s leading Independent Fragrance Retailer is now recruiting for a Merchandising Assistant to join the team located at our Head Office in Trafford Park, Manchester.
Providing key support to the merchandising team, through purchase order management, bookings management, store allocations management and administration management for the team. This is a great opportunity to embed yourself within the Buying & Merchandising Department and develop a strong understanding of the Merchandising function, in which to progress in.
Person specification:
* Analytically minded and strong numerical ability
* Excellent communication skills
* Highly organised and strong attention to detail
* Basic Excel knowledge
* Ideally of graduate calibre, looking to develop their career within retail merchandising
Responsibilities:
* Support the Merchandising Team in managing stock levels and allocations to stores, ensuring effective and appropriate allocation of SKU’s to the correct distribution to maximise sales and availability.
* Support the set up and maintenance of product information and parameter on the system, to ensure smooth and effective running of replenishment to stores.
* Responding to any store queries with regards to stock, testers or newness launches.
* Raising, sending and logging Purchase Orders.
* Management of the PO Orderbook, including chasing PO’s in line with expected delivery date and product launches.
* Processing Goods Received Notes for deliveries.
* Management of the Tester Range file and ranging to stores.
* Provide administrative support and reporting to the Merchandising Team, as required.
