The role:

Per-Scent are looking for a Sales and Training Manager with experience in the Fragrance or Beauty industry. Working with leading high street retailers, key responsibilities will be to make regular store visits in the region, support to open up new accounts, conduct effective training to store staff and internal head office teams in order to support brand sales and customer service objectives.

 

Reporting to the International and UK Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for monitoring and executing in-store merchandising and ensuring stock availability. The role will suit an enthusiastic and energetic person, willing to travel and with the ability to inspire and motivate.

 

This is a field-based role with a weekly visit to FQ (Head Office) in Trafford Park, Manchester.

 

What you’ll be doing:

Sales

Achieves retail sales targets for the designated region and across all assigned brands.

Provides support to store teams in maximising sell out of the brands.

Support the Brand Sales Manager with retail partners where appropriate.

Merchandising

Monitors Per-Scent brands execution of store merchandising planogram.

Ensures availability of saleable stock, testers and point of sale materials.

Maximises visibility of key focus and new product launches in store to drive sales.

Training

Delivers effective product training to increase engagement of store teams during planned visits.

Regular training of internal HQ teams on brands, products and new product launches.

Create and manage training manuals for internal and external teams.

Create and maintain visual merchandising guidelines.

Conducts training analysis by developing an in-depth understanding of the needs of each retail partner.

Evaluate and improve all training processes to improve levels of competence of point-of-sale teams to upsell and cross sell.

Works with key stakeholders at FQ to develop training and development materials.

Other

Manages travel and expenses within budget.

Supports trade shows and events.

 

What you’ll bring:

Experience of operating in the Retail Industry.

A people person; confident and clear communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.

Can operate under own initiative, organised, with excellent time management.

Commercially astute and customer experience focused.

Experience in leading and developing others.

Ability to be agile and excel in a fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.

Computer literate with excellent MS Office skills.
