Reporting to the Head of E-commerce & Digital, The E-Commerce Manager will focus on driving onsite trading performance, using a data driven approach to drive commercial results.
What you’ll be doing:
Responsible for managing daily e-commerce operations including website performance.
Manage category & brand performance online. Sharing insights with relevant stakeholders internally & externally.
Identify growth opportunities across online channels to increase revenue, improve conversion & enhance the customer experience.
Work with technology development teams to ensure smooth website functionality & work through technical improvements.
Update website content online to meet business needs & seasonal moments via banners or online codes.
Own the online trading calendar to drive commercial performance & plan accordingly with all digital teams.
Adopt a data-driven approach, using multiple relevant data points (page views, conversion, traffic sources, pricing, and availability) to drive commercial performance. Use analytics tools to monitor & report on website performance
Ensure accurate and up-to-date product listings, descriptions, pricing & images.
Collaborate with B&M teams to manage online assortment & merchandising.
Lead the e-commerce team, supporting their development through guidance & training.
Work with the warehouse teams to manage online order volumes.
Stay informed about industry trends & competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Support with leading on the e-commerce roadmap. Devise short and long term strategies to deliver high levels of measurable growth in traffic, revenue and profit.
What you’ll bring:
We are looking to hire someone who is a data driven individual & experience in e-commerce trading teams with excellent communication and analytical skills. Experience in an e-commerce managerial position is preferred with a proven track record of driving commercial growth with the ability to also lead and inspire a team.
