About Julian

​Julian is responsible for ensuring that the company operations are efficient and effective. His focus is on the business enablers including retail systems, distribution, software development, data and IT. Julian has worked alongside Sanjay since 2001 initially as an IT Consultant and Software Developer. He was part of the team that took over the management of TFS in 2008 when Sanjay bought TFS from the Peacocks Group.

Julian gets his job satisfaction from turning ideas into real business value and deciding to stay for 23 years shows how much Julian loves it. Julian has been involved in many of the changes over the years and was the architect and designer of TFS multi-channel services. We were an industry first with click and collect in 2014 and the introduction of email capture and e-receipts in store in 2015 was a game changer.

There is still a lot for Julian to get his teeth stuck into with Julian overseeing the new tech stack for the website and how the business can utilise AI moving forward.

With his rockstar background, Julian is full of anecdotes, but may not be able to share them in the workplace. Julian did once spend 3 months living on a boat selling dolphin tours to tourists in Ibiza in 1990, just as the dance scene started. It wasn’t about the dolphins.
